The percentage of children in the ‘care system’ who experienced 3 or home moves throughout the previous year decreased by 0.7 percentage points between 2024 and 2025, and has fallen by 1.6 percentage points overall since 2019.
Over this same period, the number of children who experienced 3 or home moves throughout the previous year fell by 42%.
