In 2023/24, 889 concerns were recorded related to domestic abuse for children on the Child Protection Register. This represents 0.88 children per 1,000 children aged 0-17 in the general population.This is a slight increase from 0.84 per 1,000 children aged 0-17 in the previous year (2022/23), but a decrease from 1.03 children per 1,000 children aged 0-17 in the baseline year (2018/19).
