The number of households assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness in 2024/25 was 112 (0.3%) higher than 2023/24 and the highest since 2011/12.The 2024-25 figure is 8% higher than the baseline. COVID-19 initially led to a decrease in the number of households assessed as homeless or threatened with homelessness as a result of guidelines to stay at home. This was following a period increase prior to COVID-19, which is what has been observed again from 2021-22 onwards.
