In 2023/24, 40.8% of care experienced school leavers achieved at least one qualification at SCQF Level 5 or above, compared to 83.5% of all school leavers. This marks a slight decrease from 42.3% the previous year, though the attainment gap is gradually narrowing.While overall attainment rates for this group has improved since 2018/19—peaking in 2021/22—there has been a slight drop in the last two years.
