In 2024/25, the rate of registrations to the child protection register from initial and pre-birth child protection planning meetings during the year was 2.9. This is a slight decrease from 3.0 the previous year and reflects a sustained downward trend in registrations since the baseline rate of 4.1 in 2018/19.
