What are the Route Maps

The Plan 24-30 route maps outline the key milestones, commitments, timelines and who is accountable for all the work needed to keep the promise by 2030.

They are national level plans that build on existing work and progress, and are developed in collaboration with those responsible for leading and implementing change.

The route maps outline, for as many years as possible,:

  • the starting position in 2024
  • the destination
  • the key commitments and milestones along the way
  • who is responsible

They are organised under the five foundations of the promise, voice, care, family, people and scaffolding.

Taken together, the 25 make up Scotland's single share plan to keep the promise by 2030, incorporating all the Independent Care Review's conclusions.
