The number of children going on to continuing care rose to 367 in 2024/25, 38% of those who were eligible.
The proportion of those eligible going into continuing care increased from 27% in the baseline year of 2020/21.
52% of those eligible in foster care entered continuing care. This compares to 34% in residential care and 31% in kinship care.
